Baroness Alkon is member of Baron Doussant's group of Merchant Barons that traveled to Cyfandir to instigate the battle at Caislean Merlin.
Appearance[]
Baroness Alkon wears the characteristic puffed sleeves and pantaloons of the Merchants, covered by a long robe that covers her entire head and neck and stretches down to her ankles. Her hair is covered by the tall, conical hood of her robe, which exposes only her face and ears.
She has sharp features and a serious expression. Her eyes and lips are highly contrasted, and she has a piercing of some sort on the bridge of her nose.
Personality[]
Baroness Alkon is a pragmatic woman, serious by nature. She rarely makes idle talk and prefers to focus on the present situation. She is one of the most proactive Barons when it comes to playing an active role or getting her hands dirty, so long as it is to the benefit of her faction.
Within the Merchant Barons, she appears to be the primary voice of rationality, alongside Baron Doussant.
Relationships[]
She appears to be on good terms with most of the other Barons.
Abilities[]
Baroness Alkon has demonstrated proficiency with various weapons, and is likely knowledgeable of the functions of the many weapons invented by the Merchant Barons. She has proven to also be a skilled markswoman.
Baroness Alkon fires her crossbow
Using a crossbow, she was able to shoot and consistently hit a fleeing Seth through the forested terrain at a great distance. Despite having no visibility through the rain and foliage, she successfully landed shots by coordinating with the vision of her pet falcon, Vigilann. She also captured Ocoho by firing and ensnaring Dracoon in a Black Silver net from a ballistae mounted on the Barons' airship.
Vigilann is Baroness Alkon's pet falcon. He often acts as a scout for the baroness, watching for threats from the skies. Baroness Alkon is capable of interpreting the meaning behind his calls.
Trivia[]
- When Baron Doussant lists the decreases in profit brought on by resource scarcity for each of the other Merchant Barons, Baroness Alkon points out that they still have large weapon stores which they sell to the Inquisition at a high price. It's possible that this means she is primarily an arms merchant, hence explaining her familiarity with weaponry.
