The Nemesis race is very versatile and varied, with a number of different sub-species existing within. They can range from colossal, prehistoric beasts, or even be on the smaller side and look rodents. Nevertheless, it appears that the traditional color scheme for a Nemesis is some pattern of black and white.

Nemeses are hatched from mystical eggs that fall the heavens, believed to have originated from the legendary nesting ground known as the Radiant. The process of hatching can be hastened if the egg is attacked through external means. These extraordinary creatures come in a plethora of different shapes and sizes. Some are colossal, intimidating monstrosities, while others have statures that are no more grand than a simple human being.
Nemeses are first born from mythical eggs that fall from the eyes, before crash landing onto the surface area. Where these eggs are produced remains a mystery, however, there are legends that suggest that these eggs fall from a Nemesis Nest, aptly referred to as ''Radiant.'' Once the eggs fall to the ground, a waiting period occurs as the creature manifests, although this process can be quickened apparently if the eggshell is attacked or damaged.

The Nemesis that is spawned from the descended egg is known as the '''Source Nemesis'''. The Source is typically a large, resilient monster that often goes on to lay waste to the area around them. Their mere presence appears to be toxic not only to the environment, but to human beings in general, and as such, physical contact will more often than not leave to a swift demise. Those that survive contact with a ''Source Nemesis,'' however, become infected and gain the ability to wield [[Fantasia|''Fantasia'']]. In addition, ''Source Nemeses'' are able to reproduce in some form, creating ''Echo Nemeses''.

=== Types of Nemesis ===
'''Echo Nemeses''' are creatures spawned by the ''Source Nemesis''. In most cases, they appear to always possess a lesser capacity for destructive potential. ''Echo Nemeses'' are often employed for usage in scouting, and while they are typically smaller and weaker, can overwhelm opponents with their sheer numbers. Unlike the original, these Nemeses lack the potential to corrupt others or spawn additional sorcerers.

Consistent among all species of Nemeses, these deadly creatures are extremely resilient to damage, and have a high threshold for pain and damage. Their bodies can continue on, even after suffering major, near fatal attacks, making it necessary for a Nemesis to be either annihilated or cut down beyond repair. In the cases where they aren't slain, Nemeses have a very generous healing factor, and can regenerate lost limbs or other grevious wounds over time.
[[File:Nemesis Fantasia Blast.gif|thumb|220x220px|A Nemesis charging up and releasing a wave of Fantasia.]]Nemeses appear to be the progenitors to the manipulation of Fantasia. It is due to their influence that human beings are potentially able to mimic their special abilities and become sorcerers in their own right. However, a Nemesis need not a conduit, nor any other material to gather Fantasia for their own use. It appears that the ability to gather and fire off the magical power is an ability that is inherent with the species, and thus requires no special training to produce.

From there, their physical parameters vary based on species. Some are capable of flight, others have monstrous strength, or even possess super speed. Due to the highly versatile nature of a Nemesis' physiology, these creatures can possess abilities ranging from elasticity or even venomous bites.
Nevertheless, based on the specific sub-species, a Nemesis may be able to use their Fantasia for other, varying techniques. The primary form, however, appears to be in the form of simple beams, or concentrated burst of magical blasts.

Some have shown to be exceptionally capable of continuing a bout even when their bodies have been damaged severely, with one continuing to battle even as a massive hole punctured its belly.

As they are not real Nemesis they are smaller, cannot infect people and hold almost no power. Their main mission is to search for a place where the Souce Nemesis can lay rest or use its full power of destruction.

The ''Source'' on the other hand, as the main Nemesis, are always bigger and powerful. The Source is the only one who can infect a human. Nemeses (ネメシス, Nemeshisu?) are a powerful, mystery race of demonic entities. They spawn from massive eggs that fall the sky at random, before being hatched into their various forms. They serve as the central antagonist to the world, and are the catalyst for a Sorcerer being created.

Types of Nemesis

Source Nemesis

Nemeses that spawn from the Nemesis Egg are known as the Source Nemesis. A Source Nemesis uniquely possesses the ability to reproduce over time, creating Echo Nemeses that are usually just a smaller, less potent version of the original. In addition, Source Nemeses also toxic to human beings, contact with them will cause the human to be enveloped in a shroud of Fantasia, vaporizing their bodies more often than not.

This type of Nemesis prompts Feather Trees to bloom near their proximity and has the capacity to control each their Echo offsprings.

Echo Nemesis

An Echo Nemesis is the off spring of the Source. Echo Nemeses are normally an inferior version of the parent Nemesis, with similar abilities and attributes on a much smaller scale. They function as foot soldiers and are used to scout an area or overwhelm an opponent. Unlike the Source Nemesis, Echoes are unable to infect humans and are capable of being harmed by normal weaponry, as seen by one being slain by Dragunov's arrow.

Powers

Physical

Consistent among all species of Nemeses, these deadly creatures are extremely resilient to damage, and have a high threshold for pain and damage. Their bodies can continue on, even after suffering major, near fatal attacks, making it necessary for a Nemesis to be either annihilated or cut down beyond repair. In the cases where they aren't slain, Nemeses have a very generous healing factor, and can regenerate lost limbs or other grevious wounds over time.

From there, their physical parameters vary based on species. Some are capable of flight, others have monstrous strength, or even possess super speed. Due to the highly versatile nature of a Nemesis' physiology, these creatures can possess abilities ranging from elasticity or even venomous bites.

Curses

Source Nemeses are toxic to human being, and a single graze can prove fatal. On any contact with humans, they will envelop the target in a chaotic shroud of Fantasia, vaporizing them at a rate of 87.5%. Those that do survive the encounter, however, are forever cursed with a unique infection and gain the ability to meld Fantasia just as the Nemesis do. These people are called Sorcerers.

The curses placed onto the target vary just as the Nemeses do, with no single curse being the same as the next.

Fantasia Manipulation

These demonic creatures are all capable of wielding Fantasia for devastating attacks. Uniquely, they require no special equipment or items to cast these attacks. How they do so vary based on their physiology, with some firing from their mouth, and others firing from their tails. They have a degree of versatility when it comes to its application, showing the capacity to use Fantasia beams in myriad of methods, and some even being able to repel magical attacks.
